Searches for the index at which the item occurs by using a binary search. The search is performed only inside the specified list subrange. It is an user responsibility to first sort the list in ascending order.

Syntax

   System.int index,
   System.int count,
   T item,
   System.Collections.Generic.IComparer<T> comparer
)

Parameters

index: range start index
count: range lenght
item: item to look for
comparer: comparer to use

Target Platforms: Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later)
